Harm Reduction Drop-In Adult Soccer

This service is not available, please contact for more information.

Kick the ball, kick the habit!

Our adult soccer drop in is a harm reduction informed program that uses soccer to develop community leadership and reduce alcohol use among vulnerable adults in our community. The program uses recreational and social opportunities to strengthen participants’ physical fitness and mental health and minimize their social isolation, which can in turn reduce their substance use. In 2014, the ‘Latin Men United’ drop-in team participated in the Street Soccer Toronto League. LMU played in weekly games against other community-based organizations in the city, and got the opportunity to play on Toronto’s BMO field. Want to get involved?
